Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations for clients using the DSM under the supervision of licensed professionals.

• Deliver short-term psychotherapy services, including but not limited to case management, treatment planning, and various psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Utilize telehealth platforms and electronic health records to manage client care effectively.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, and supportive therapy according to client needs.

• Participate in integrated healthcare consultations addressing family dynamics, sociocultural influences, and community resources.

• Maintain accurate clinical records, documentation, and correspondence necessary for comprehensive care.

• Engage in collaborative consultation with interdisciplinary teams to refine treatment plans and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Contribute to departmental planning and quality management initiatives that reflect best practices in behavioral health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A current LMFT license (or Psy.D) to practice in New York State is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
