Automotive Accounting Specialist We're looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Specialist who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep the dealership running smoothly. If you're organized, enjoy solving problems, and have a solid foundation in accounting, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do As an Automotive Accounting Specialist, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily dealership operations. Your responsibilities will include: Reconciling accounts and researching discrepancies. Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Auditing inventory and floorplan accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports. Working closely with multiple departments to resolve accounting questions and improve processes. Assisting with job costing and other accounting functions as needed. Performing additional accounting and administrative duties to support the finance team. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with others. Positive, professional, and committed to delivering accurate work. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accrual accounting. Experience with account reconciliations. Understanding of job costing concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Preferred: Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
