Real Estate Staff Appraiser

Position Title: Real Estate Staff Appraiser Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc., is a national, privately held commercial real estate valuation and consulting firm with 13 offices across the US. Founded over 75 years ago, the firm is completely independent and is 100% owned by MAI designated practicing appraisers. We offer opportunities to work remotely or in our North Dallas office, with mentorship from senior commercial appraisers and exposure to a wide range of property types. The Commercial Real Estate Appraiser role involves preparing narrative appraisals and consulting reports, leveraging Argus and Excel, and collaborating with lending institutions, funds, attorneys, municipalities, and other real estate professionals. You'll work in a supportive and collaborative environment that values accuracy, integrity, and professionalism. Full Time Compensation $35,000-$45,000 Job Responsibilities Coordinate and complete multiple appraisal assignments on complex commercial properties. Utilize Argus DCF, AE and Excel for cash flow models and analyses. Gather and research data on comparable properties and market trends. Evaluate property characteristics and financial performance history and projections. Communicate findings and advise lenders, funds, and other real estate professionals. Job Qualifications Experience preparing narrative appraisals and consulting reports. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
