This position allows for a multifaceted work environment that blends remote flexibility with in-person visits at our outpatient office in Eugene. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized in-home therapy sessions or facilitate group therapy in our outpatient center.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement strategies for anger management, coping, and social skills development, while effectively reducing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Enhance the decision-making capabilities of youth and caregivers to effectively address in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Engage in consistent collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team members and other related professionals to ensure unified support for the youth and their families.
\n
• Thoroughly document all required client information within specified time frames, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Attend monthly team meetings and actively contribute recommendations for improving therapy processes and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will specifically focus on assisting children and young adults aged 3 to 20 years who face developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. This diverse client population varies in their needs and complexities, allowing you to apply varied therapeutic techniques to foster growth and resilience in each child and their family unit. By meeting them where they are, both physically and emotionally, you will have a profound impact on their development and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours of service per week, particularly during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend flexibility as an added advantage.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client locations.
\n
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support and implementing therapeutic interventions.

• Prior experience working with children and teens, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, enhancing our capacity to serve bilingual families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
