Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized care to patients in a 35-bed unit.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4-5 and titrate drips such as Cardizem and beta blockers.
• Work closely with charge nurses, nurse aids, and patient care techs to maintain a supportive environment.
• Adhere to weekend, holiday, and floating requirements as scheduled.
• Participate in onboarding and unit-specific orientation for seamless integration into the team.
• Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Nebraska.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in critical care or stepdown units.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to hospital policies, including artificial nail prohibition.
• Ability to commit to weekend and holiday shifts as required.
