Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments to accurately understand the needs of new patients and their families. \n Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to client-specific circumstances. \n Timely completion of documentation, treatment plans, insurance authorizations, and billing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. \n Develop and implement crisis plans, safety strategies, relapse prevention methods, and comprehensive wellness plans that promote stable functioning for clients. \n Create, monitor, and support effective discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for clients exiting therapy. \n Maintain adherence to federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Genworth policies and procedures to ensure ethical and effective service delivery. \n Continuously seek opportunities for professional development through training and education to enhance therapeutic techniques and competencies. \n Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes shared learning. \n Complete all necessary licensure renewals and mandatory training requirements in a timely manner. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our clients encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will play a critical role in providing tailored therapy that acknowledges and respects the unique cultural, economic, and personal perspectives of each client, allowing for tailored interventions that promote healing and resilience. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure. \n Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Previous experience in a telehealth setting, demonstrating proficiency with virtual therapy platforms. \n Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural competence in mental health. \n Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on your licensure and professional experience.
