Sports, Entertainment, & Leisure Account Services Manager

The Role The Strategic Account Management team helps Square’s most complex merchants get the most out of Square through strategic relationship building and timely solutions. We are hiring an Account Service Manager to support our Sports and Entertainment Sellers, working alongside a Senior Account Manager to nurture relationships, expand collaboration, and uncover new seller accounts. You Will Grow and retain the existing customer base within our key Sports and Entertainment Seller relationships. Collaborate closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Executives to develop growth and retention strategies. Understand customer needs to help achieve their business goals through Square. Cross‑sell and upsell products and features by discovering customer leads. Strategically address customer concerns and issues. Work with Sales, Support and Product teams to ensure customers have the best possible experience across all aspects of Square. Help close operational gaps required to effectively manage seller relationships. Support account management peers by becoming an expert on a product or process and delivering feedback to PMs. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management or a related field. Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships. Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets. Strong interest in business operations and strategy. Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can better serve small and medium‑size businesses. Comfort with ambiguity and providing feedback on new processes that require continued refinement. Entrepreneurial spirit. Experience in Sports and Entertainment operations or technology deployments is a plus. A BA/BS or relevant experience.
