Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing positive relationships while adhering to professional boundaries and ethics.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, review stability, and discuss upcoming appointments, including discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans focused on the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates.

• Conduct intake assessments to determine the immediate needs and mental health challenges faced by new clients.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for exploration and healing.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions, focusing on professional growth and client care improvement.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in computer systems, including RMS platforms, Excel spreadsheets, and electronic communication tools like Outlook and Pimsy.
