Position Summary Protos Security is seeking a Communications Manager to join its team. The Communications Manager will be responsible for leading and executing communications initiatives across Protos Security and its affiliated brands. This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, overseeing public relations, internal communications, external communications and content development efforts that support business objectives and strengthen the company's brand presence. The Communications Manager will own the company's relationship with its public relations agency and oversee all aspects of the public relations program. This individual will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities for thought leadership, brand visibility and strategic communications while ensuring consistency in messaging across all brands and audiences. In addition, the Communications Manager will create, manage and oversee a wide range of content and communications projects, including company communications, sales enablement materials, press releases, articles and executive communications. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strong project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a highly organized communications professional with outstanding writing and storytelling abilities, strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Own and manage all aspects of the company's public relations program and relationship with the external PR agency. Develop and execute public relations strategies that support company objectives and brand awareness initiatives. Serve as the primary liaison between company leadership and the PR agency, ensuring alignment on priorities, messaging and opportunities. Collaborate with company leadership and brand leaders to identify and develop public relations opportunities, thought leadership initiatives and key messaging. Review, approve and support PR agency activities including media outreach, press opportunities, interviews and related communications efforts. Develop and manage internal communications programs that support employee engagement and organizational alignment. Create and manage external communications initiatives across multiple brands and audiences. Write, edit and oversee the creation of high-quality content including press releases, articles, executive communications, marketing materials and sales enablement content. Partner with sales, marketing, operations and other teams as needed to develop content that supports business objectives. Manage content development projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all communications channels and materials. Monitor PR program performance and communications effectiveness, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Support additional related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field required. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public relations, communications, content marketing or related roles required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling abilities. Experience managing public relations agencies and external communications partners preferred. Experience developing executive communications, thought leadership content and internal communications programs preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with executives, stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business communication tools. Writing samples required as part of the application process.
