Reno Staffing is looking for a Payroll Administrative Assistant for an Electrical Construction Company in the USA Pkwy area!
Do you have Payroll Admin experience and want to get into the growing construction sector? This is a temp to hire position. Great benefits offered after conversion.
Shift:6am-2:30pm M-F
Pay: $75k/yr ($36.06/hr)
Location: USA Parkway
Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Payroll department for our Field teams. This role is essential to keeping payroll project operations running smoothly and efficiently, requiring strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and assisting visitors.
• Perform general administrative duties, including filing, typing, copying, scanning, and coordinating travel arrangements for senior staff.
• Support special projects and coordinate occasional job-site and office meetings, lunches, and breakfasts.
• Assist with onboarding new field employees, including completing new hire packets, facilitating Form I-9 verification, and collecting union dispatch documentation.
• Coordinate the submission of completed onboarding documents to the Santa Clara Payroll Team.
• Submit field crew timesheets to Payroll by Friday, with supplemental submissions early Monday morning for weekend overtime.
• Conduct a final review of weekly payroll time entries to verify accuracy and completeness before the Santa Clara Payroll Team processes and posts payroll.
• Monitor and review payroll corrections submitted by the Crew Payroll Team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution.
• Enter employee subsistence payments into Accounts Payable and coordinate payment processing with the Accounts Payable Lead.
