Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with primary care providers to identify and manage mental health issues by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.

• Performing thorough diagnostic intakes to formulate individual treatment plans and recommending appropriate interventions.
\n
• Delivering brief therapeutic interventions for patients requiring immediate mental health support.
\n
• Recommending referrals to specialty mental health services when necessary, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.
\n
• Engaging in follow-up procedures to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and making adjustments as needed.
\n
• Assisting patients in developing relapse prevention plans and promoting strategies for maintaining stable mental health functioning.
\n
• Monitoring patient progress diligently, ensuring that healthcare providers are informed of treatment developments and patient needs.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices in therapy and actively involving patients in their recovery process by teaching self-management skills.
\n
• Documenting all relevant patient information and treatment progress systematically and accurately within our electronic health record system.

• Adhering strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our patient population may also include individuals from diverse backgrounds, requiring sensitivity to cultural competencies and diverse client needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Oregon.
\n
• Proficient understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses, psychodiagnostics, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques.

• Strong analytical skills to assess individual client needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of community resources that can support mental health care and enhance patient recovery opportunities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with bi-lingual capabilities, especially in English and Spanish, will be given preference. Experience working within community health systems or Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time LPC position is competitive, ranging from USD 87,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
