Manufacturing Estimator

Manufacturing EngineerReview engineering drawings and 3D CAD models to determine the most efficient manufacturing process.Prepare cost estimates for materials, hardware, coatings, outside services, and labor.Estimate labor hours for machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly operations.Identify Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements to reduce costs and improve production efficiency.Manage RFQs, pricing data, and project information within ERP/MRP systems.Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes for specialty materials, components, and finishing services.Assess project risks, including production constraints, material pricing fluctuations, and scheduling impacts.Partner with sales and project management teams to support project timelines, budgets, and technical proposals.Perform PFMEA and other risk assessment activities for new projects.Develop project schedules based on material lead times, production capacity, and business priorities.Analyze estimated versus actual project costs to improve future quoting accuracy.
