Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health statuses to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other disorders.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and cultural competence to enhance client engagement and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Regularly monitoring clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and providing supportive resources or referrals to other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment plans in EHR systems to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share best practices, and foster a supportive community among colleagues.

Your work will entail engaging with a wide array of clients, from adolescents to adults, who are dealing with mental health challenges, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Washington.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings.
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing therapy in various formats, including telehealth and in-person settings.

• Prior experience working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals with co-occurring disorders is a plus.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and an understanding of HIPAA-compliant documentation practices.

• A willingness to engage in team-based approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
