This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office in Dallas. While the core work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some adaptability is essential to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of patients' unique experiences and craft tailored treatment plans that address their needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider each patient's cultural background and personal circumstances, ensuring an inclusive approach to care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns and enhancing resilience.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to create coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention and support, remaining calm and effective during acute mental health situations.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to continuously improve care practices and enhance team collaboration.

• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and culturally relevant considerations in mental health therapy to tailor interventions effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from marginalized communities, immigrants, and those struggling with various mental health disorders. By addressing the unique cultural contexts of our patients, you will be instrumental in helping them navigate their mental health journeys in a compassionate and informed manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with culturally responsive techniques.

• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications to document care effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
