Psychiatrist Position At Gaylord HospitalGaylord Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time psychiatrist to join our team in providing exceptional care to both inpatient and outpatient populations. These values guide us in providing quality patient care and transforming the lives of our patients.Key responsibilities include:Providing comprehensive psychiatric consultations and care for adolescent through geriatric patients who have experienced a range of complex medical illnesses, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other neurologic/medical diseases.Managing a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients.Developing and growing the service on both the inpatient and outpatient side.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols.Qualifications include:MD or DO from an accredited medical school.Completion of an approved residency program in psychiatry.Board-eligible or board-certified in psychiatry.Current Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.Experience in acute care and consultation-liaison psychiatry preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.We offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Generous relocation package.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Potential for involvement in teaching and supervising medical trainees.Work schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday.We are an equal opportunity employer.Equal opportunity employer.
