Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy, to individuals, families, and groups.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and methodologies to address various mental health concerns, ensuring effective communication during therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems proficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will consist of diverse clients facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse. You will work to build trusting relationships with clients, creating a safe space where they can openly discuss their concerns and work towards recovery. With a focus on understanding the unique cultural and social backgrounds of each client, you will strive to tailor your interactions to ensure their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
