About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to spearhead the development and execution of sales strategies that will drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share within the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive leadership team, leading national sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and building a high-performing sales organization. This role requires close collaboration with various functions, including marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure the achievement of business objectives and support the company's long-term growth strategy. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include sales leadership, strategic growth and business development, revenue and performance management, customer and channel management, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), at least 10 years of sales leadership experience in the food and beverage or CPG industry, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Experience in managing national accounts, distributors, brokers, and multi-channel sales organizations is essential, as is a strong skill set in strategic planning, forecasting, negotiation, and team leadership. The role also demands excellent communication, relationship-building abilities, and a preference for candidates with an established network in the food and beverage industry and experience in a high-growth sales environment.
