Beyond offering logistics jobs, we build careers and fuel the future of foodservice distribution.​Sr. Staff Accountant – Frisco, TXWhat You'll Do:You'll be the financial backbone for up to five distribution centers, owning month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting. This isn't a back-office number-crunching role — you'll partner directly with distribution center leadership to explain what the numbers mean, spot trends before they become problems, and help drive smarter decisions on cost, controls, and efficiency. If you're a detail-oriented accountant who's just as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a room with operations leaders, this role is built for you.In This Role, You'll:Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements for up to 5 distribution centersPrepare and enter journal entries, ensuring accurate coding of revenue, expenses, and balance sheet items across multiple lines of business and locationsPerform inventory reconciliations and adjustment analysis, and assist with physical inventory counts as neededResearch and reconcile unvouchered subledger reports, price discrepancies, and intercompany transactionsReconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, analyzing balances for accuracy and providing supporting documentationLead weekly financial review meetings with distribution center management, delivering insights on performance, costs, and revenue opportunitiesSupport the annual budget process with detailed account analytics, and analyze budget-to-actual variances throughout the yearEnsure adherence to GAAP standards, coordinate with external auditors, and lead PBC documentation gathering during annual auditsWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparationCPA or CMA preferred, not requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting softwareStrong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with minimal supervisionA self-starter mindset — comfortable owning projects, navigating ambiguity, and driving process improvementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of strong customer serviceThe Schedule & Setting:Full-time, Monday – Friday, based on-site at the Frisco, TX headquartersStandard core business hours, with flexibility needed around month-end and quarter-end closeOffice environment with regular collaboration with distribution center leadership across multiple locationsSome travel to distribution centers may be required to support physical inventory counts or auditsPay & Benefits:Pay Range (Base Pay): Commensurate with experienceWeekly pay (every Friday)Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.Health and Wellness: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts (FSA), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Voluntary Insurance (Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Legal, Life, and AD&D); Pet InsuranceRetirement Benefits: 401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO): Includes vacation, sick leave, and paid company holidays provided in accordance with company policy and applicable state and local laws.To apply, click "Apply" and complete the online applicationWHY JOIN USWe're not just in the business of distribution - we're in the business of development.
