Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Create detailed, personalized treatment plans that align with the best evidence-based practices for a range of mental health issues.

• Lead engaging therapy sessions for individuals, families, couples, and groups, implementing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Document all interactions and treatment progress accurately and timely in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly consult with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care and coordinated treatment strategies.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and relationship concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active New York State license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing direct counseling services.

• Demonstrated knowledge of ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
