Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the Baltimore, MD area. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing forklifts and other equipment. As an Industrial Equipment Mechanic, you will work primarily at customer sites in a shop environment, troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, performing unscheduled repairs, and conducting scheduled maintenance on forklifts and other industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend corrective actions.
• Complete major repairs and overhauls of industrial forklift equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on forklifts and industrial equipment.
• Provide superior customer service.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency in using volt, ohm, and multimeters, as well as personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Strong focus and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sense of urgency and commitment to achieving success.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and familiarity with cell phone, internet, and email functions.
• Good driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, repair, diesel, welding, industrial equipment, conveyors, troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical fields.
• Training provided to become a Raymond Certified Technician from Basic Certified, Level 1, Level 2, to Master Certified.

Work Environment

This is a service position in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with shifts running from 7 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
