Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office in Chantilly – a location known for its vibrant community and accessibility. Scheduling is structured for work-life balance, offering shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring evenings and weekends are free to spend with family and friends.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Azure Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' movement ability and functional capabilities to determine effective treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans using evidence-based practices, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy techniques, and specialized equipment options.
• Monitoring treatment responses and patient progress while documenting all findings in our electronic health record system.
• Adjusting therapy interventions in response to patient needs and clinical indications, fostering a personalized approach to care.
• Educating patients, their families, and caregivers regarding appropriate exercises, safe use of assistive devices, and preventative strategies for ongoing health maintenance.
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and contributing to a safe, effective, and efficient therapeutic environment.
• Participating in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and peer collaboration to keep abreast of the latest advances in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
