Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting intake assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Leading therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based modalities.

• Providing crisis intervention and stabilizing clients in urgent situations.
\n
• Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions focused on common issues such as grief, substance abuse, or familial conflict.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a multi-disciplinary approach to client care.

• Maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation and managing case notes in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing various mental health concerns including:

\n
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
\n
• Grief, loss, and adjustment disorders.
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and estrangements.
\n
• Challenges associated with job stress and medical issues.

• Therapies for blended families and issues stemming from separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of New York.

• Experience in providing therapy for a range of mental health issues.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an LMFT in clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
