University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them live independently and with dignity in their own homes. This rewarding role requires empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse populations.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient personality.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
- Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00, paid twice a month.
