Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain insights into clients' mental health needs, formulating customized treatment plans accordingly.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Work collaboratively with clients to establish treatment objectives, and systematically track their progress and adapt approaches as necessary.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who prefer virtual formats due to distance, accessibility issues, or personal choice.

• Maintain documentation that meets professional ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all notes and records are timely and accurate.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training, continuously expanding clinical expertise and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve diverse adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. Your role as a counselor will not only address these concerns but will also provide a safe and understanding space for clients to express their feelings and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship.

• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients and their unique experiences.
\n
• Strong organizational skills to manage your caseload effectively while attending to administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, given the remote nature of this position.

• Prior exposure to evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based approaches.

• Competence in working with a diverse population, exhibiting cultural sensitivity in treatment approaches.
