Typical Schedule (Subject to change based on special events and scheduled department PTO) Mondays & Wednesdays - 6:00am - 2:30pm Tuesdays & Thursdays - 10:30am - 7:00pm Fridays rotating 6:00am-2:30pm and 10:30am-7:00pm with Culinary Director Periodic weekends and holidays are part of the role, as expected in a hospitality position, but you won't be living at work. What You'll Do As a Supervisor and Cook, you'll help create delicious and enjoyable dining experiences while ensuring meals are prepared safely and meet the dietary needs of our residents. Your responsibilities may include: Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely manner Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste Following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Assisting with meal planning, food preparation, and special dietary needs as assigned Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work environment Monitoring food supplies and communicating inventory or equipment needs Working collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide an exceptional experience for residents Following all company policies, food safety standards, and applicable local and state regulations Lead a team of chefs and servers Provide backup support to the Culinary Director on ordering, inventory and scheduling What we're looking for The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a passion for cooking and preparing quality meals Enjoys working with seniors and making a difference in their day Takes pride in their work and pays attention to quality and detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Sonida Senior Living
