HVAC Technician

Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $34 - $40 per hour Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, refrigeration units, and boilers to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent potential failures and extend their lifespan. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, identify the root cause, and provide effective and efficient solutions. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and install HVAC systems for new construction projects, ensuring they meet all safety and performance standards. Provide exceptional customer service, answering client queries and explaining technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role in the engineering industry. Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Extensive knowledge of HVAC controls and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Experience with HVAC installation and repair techniques, including working with chillers, boilers, and cooling systems. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites. A professional certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
