Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Palms Medical Group, your key responsibilities will include:

• Working directly as a clinician with assigned clients who exhibit symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
\n
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing integrated care plans tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring access to linked services.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based interventions and providing a range of brief, focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services.
\n
• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, with a particular focus on addressing presenting problems and client requests.
\n
• Monitoring client progress, managing caseloads, and ensuring the timely completion of documentation and data submissions.
\n
• Assisting in crisis intervention efforts, when required, to ensure client safety and well-being.
\n
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the organization by participating in committees and providing feedback on service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals undergoing detoxification, many of whom may be experiencing co-occurring mental health conditions. You will engage with a diverse client population from various backgrounds, and it will be vital to approach each individual with respect and understanding, taking into account their unique cultural, social, and personal experiences. Your work will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes, helping clients navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field, with a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

• Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues, including risk assessment and crisis management.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Competency in addressing age-related and specialty issues relevant to the populations served.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience specific to detox and substance use treatment will be highly favored. Familiarity with community resources and telehealth platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Palms Medical Group offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
