Overview

\n

Our client is seeking an experienced project manager to support cybersecurity initiatives focused on incident response, remediation, and organizational preparedness within a complex financial services environment. This individual will coordinate technical teams and business stakeholders to keep security-related projects on track, manage follow-up activities, and strengthen incident response processes.

\n

The ideal candidate will combine cybersecurity project delivery experience with a practical understanding of incident response procedures and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, risk partners, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity projects from initial planning through delivery, overseeing schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder updates.
    • \n
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities throughout the cyber incident response process, including investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery.
    • \n
  • Organize post-incident assessments to document findings, capture lessons learned, and establish corrective action plans.
    • \n
  • Monitor remediation commitments and follow-up activities to support timely completion and address outstanding risks.
    • \n
  • Facilitate coordination among cybersecurity specialists, business teams, risk stakeholders, and leadership to support effective decision-making.

  • Maintain project plans, governance materials, status reports, and supporting documentation.
