Campus Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Campus Facilities Assistant to join a team supporting campus facilities and space needs in Greeley, CO. This part-time role involves a combination of signage production and installation, building walkthroughs, furniture assembly, and moving office or equipment items across campus locations. 

The Campus Facilities Assistant will play an important role in keeping campus spaces accurately identified, organized, and properly maintained. The role also provides opportunities to work directly with vinyl-cutting equipment, assist with campus projects, and support teammates with space-related moves. 

We are looking for a candidate that is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing both computer-based and physical tasks. The position requires the ability to work with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft TDX, Gmail, Google Drive, and a Graphtec vinyl cutter, while also being comfortable walking campus buildings, installing signage, assembling furniture, and assisting with relocations. 

Located in Greeley CO, this is a temporary, part-time position paying $17.29 per hour, with a schedule of approximately 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

-Create paper office and station interior signage using information submitted through online forms

-Deliver and install completed interior signage throughout all campus locations

-Review Microsoft TDX work order tasks and use the information provided to create vinyl room and wayfinding signage

-Operate a Graphtec vinyl cutter to produce vinyl signage

-Deliver and install vinyl room and wayfinding signage throughout campus

-Refresh exterior wayfinding signage by removing existing vinyl

-Paint exterior signs and apply new vinyl as part of signage updates

-Walk buildings across all campuses to verify room names and numbers against written documentation

-Update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with accurate room name and number information

-Assist teammates with furniture relocations throughout campus

-Assemble standard office and classroom furniture as part of relocation projects

-Assist with the relocation of boxes and equipment

-Upload and download documents using Google Drive

-Utilize Gmail and other Google Suite tools for day-to-day tasks

-Support teammates with campus space and facilities-related projects as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills:

-At least 1–2 years of experience in facilities, administrative support, campus operations, signage, or a similar work environment

-Able to produce and install various types of interior signage, including office, room identification, and directional signs

-Comfortable performing hands-on exterior sign maintenance, such as removing old vinyl, painting, and applying replacement vinyl

-Able to walk and inspect multiple campus buildings while carefully checking room numbers and names for accuracy

-Experience using Google Suite applications, particularly Gmail and Google Drive, to communicate and manage digital files

-Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel for entering, maintaining, and updating information in spreadsheets

-Able to navigate Microsoft TDX work orders or learn similar work request and ticketing systems

-Willing and able to learn how to operate signage equipment, including a Graphtec vinyl cutter

-Comfortable performing physical tasks such as moving boxes and equipment and helping relocate office and classroom furniture

-Able to assemble standard office and classroom furniture as needed

-Strong eye for detail when working with room information, signage, spreadsheets, and other documentation

-Dependable and organized, with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple campus buildings

-Works well with others and communicates effectively with teammates while following projects through to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous experience working in a college, school, campus, facilities, or space-related setting

-Hands-on experience producing, handling, or installing vinyl, interior, or wayfinding signage 

-Familiarity with work order or service-request software used to coordinate facilities tasks

-Experience with signage production tools or a willingness to learn specialized equipment

-Comfortable working in a role that combines computer-based tasks with physical, hands-on campus work.
