Signage & Facilities Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Signage & Facilities Assistant for a 9-month contract opportunity in Greeley, CO. This part-time role supports campus signage production, installation, wayfinding updates, furniture moves, and general facilities operations across multiple campus locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, deliver, and install interior office, station, room identification, and wayfinding signage across campus locations.
- Operate signage-related equipment, including a Graphtec vinyl cutter, to produce vinyl lettering, graphics, and signage materials.
- Refresh and maintain exterior wayfinding signage by removing vinyl, preparing surfaces, painting, and applying updated graphics.
- Walk campus buildings to verify room names and numbers, document discrepancies, and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist with furniture assembly, office and classroom furniture relocations, equipment moves, boxes, and general facilities support tasks.
- Use Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, and work-order systems to communicate, access documents, complete assigned tasks, and track work.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Contract Length: 9 months.
- Schedule: Part-time, 32 hours per week.
- Location: Greeley, CO.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Create and install campus signage, vinyl lettering, and wayfinding updates.
- Verify room information across campus buildings and maintain accurate spreadsheet records.
- Support facilities operations through furniture moves, equipment relocation, assembly, and general installation tasks.
- Complete assigned work orders and communicate updates using basic computer applications.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software and work-order systems.
- Ability to use Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft TDX or a similar work-order platform.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow written instructions and verify signage details.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting team projects and campus service requests.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, organization, and time-management skills.
- Professional communication skills and a courteous, customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to walk extensively, stand for extended periods, bend, reach, kneel, lift, carry, move materials, and work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and signage-related equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in facilities, signage production, maintenance, campus operations, warehouse operations, moving, installation, or a related field.
- Experience operating a vinyl cutter, especially a Graphtec cutter.
- Experience installing vinyl lettering, room identification signage, or wayfinding signage.
- Experience with furniture assembly, office moves, classroom setup, or equipment relocation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and work-order management systems.
