Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that involve understanding each patient's background, symptoms, and mental health history to create tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to treat individuals, couples, and families, adapting your approach as necessary based on ongoing patient feedback and progress.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and providing patients with shared experiences regarding common mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care, discussing treatment progress and strategies during case consultations.

• Provide crisis intervention services, helping patients navigate mental health emergencies with immediate support and developing stabilization plans.

• Educate patients comprehensively about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can aid their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other legal standards, contributing to our organization's commitment to transparency and privacy.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings, training sessions, and staying up-to-date with the latest research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you serve at Hope Care and Counseling Center will range from children to adults, facing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve not only diagnosing and treating these disorders but also addressing the personal and social factors that contribute to the patient's overall mental wellness. Providing culturally competent care is essential, as our diverse client base reflects different backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building a rapport with clients and collaborating with fellow team members.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain ethics and confidentiality in sensitive situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting, preferably in a telehealth capacity, is highly desirable.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to trauma-informed care and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
