Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments through virtual consultations to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Document client progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system while adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, during all interactions.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic approaches and improve outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources within the community.

• Stay current with the latest developments in mental health research to continually enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship issues. Your role will empower these individuals to overcome their obstacles and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Proven ability to implement solution-focused psychotherapy to address individual client needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n
