Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, psychological states, and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, employing various therapeutic techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at building coping strategies, enhancing resilience, and supporting healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrative approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and security.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, available therapies, coping mechanisms, and community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collective knowledge about trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research, tools, and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure best practices are utilized.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individual in this role will primarily work with clients who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients often require empathetic, patient-centered approaches tailored to their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications\n

• Your educational background should include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• You must hold a current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Proven ability to work effectively with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is crucial to provide effective, evidence-based interventions. Compensation and Benefits\n
