Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' capabilities and limitations, ensuring outcomes are focused on restoring optimal function.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations utilizing diagnostic tests and physical assessments to identify patient needs and track progress over time.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and deliver high-quality interventions.
• Administer physical modalities, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage as prescribed by the referring physician.
• Evaluate and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing recommendations to optimize patient mobility and support.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and actively contribute insights to enhance the overall treatment strategy for patients.
• Document clinical evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately for compliance and quality assurance.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy processes, including instruction on home exercises and the use of assistive devices.
• Provide professional mentorship and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations and quality standards.
• Continuously assess the therapeutic environment and suggest modifications to enhance the safety and effectiveness of care.
• Keep documentation current and comply with organizational policies regarding reporting and clinical collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves a diverse patient population in the Clearwater area, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• One (1) year of professional experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting is required.
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to maintaining professional licensure and credentials are essential.

• Proficiency in federal, state, and governing agency regulations related to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
