Operations Manager - Hot Mill

We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager with Hot Mill experience to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Hot Rolling and Scalping. Specifically, this position will: Provide leadership and strategy to all casting operations, including supervisory responsibility of 80 employees and an operational budget of $15M. Ensure full compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Oversee quality systems to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction Improve productivity through effective resource utilization and process optimization Implement reliability programs to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Partner closely with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams Candidates should possess: 7+ years of experience in the metals industry, including extensive experience in Hot Mill environment Strong technical knowledge of casting processes, products, and technology Demonstrated expertise in Lean Transformation and Lean Six Sigma Hands-on leadership style with willingness to spend ~50% of time on the shop floor Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline This position offers a salary of $135-150K with full benefits with room for growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
