The Opportunity as the Project Billing Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be responsible for invoicing of assigned projects and ensure contract terms are followed regarding correct billing rates and schedules
• Work closely with Project Accountants and Project Controls personnel
• Answer Project Management questions regarding project billing criteria and invoice drafts
• Works under close supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Generates, audits and distributes draft invoices and/or credit memos to Project Management for review based on understanding of contract
• May support project invoicing related analysis, as assigned by providing requested information
• Provides support for client and annual Black and Veatch audit activities
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Oracle, preferred
• Knowledge of Black and Veatch Systems
• Basic Knowledge of percent complete accounting
• Basic Technical accounting knowledge
• Basic Preferred Non-Technical Skills: Organizing Planning Written Communications Informing Peer Relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

• Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field
