Wachter is accepting resumes for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Clerk to join our finance team in the Lenexa, KS office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and ensuring timely payment of invoices and other obligations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes customer invoices.
• Works with customers and project management to ensure accurate billing.
• Sales tax application requires attention to detail.
• Manages customer requests and invoice revisions.
• Maintains organized records related to mail and shipping activities.
• Performs additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
• Follows established policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Maintains regular and dependable attendance to ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
• Support a professional, collaborative, and ethical work environment.

Skills and Education:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Accounting degree preferred.
• Two or more years of accounting experience.
• Commercial Construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Sales tax background is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient with the use of personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Project Management experience in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful.
