Our client is a fast-growing AI startup disrupting a $150 billion industry. Backed by significant funding at a unicorn valuation, they're bringing a level of predictive intelligence to enterprise clients that simply didn't exist before. The team is small, the bar is high, and the opportunity is significant.

The role

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll own the technical strategy across complex enterprise sales cycles, working alongside Account Executives from first discovery call through to close. You'll design simulation configurations, deliver high-stakes live demos, and present to C-suite stakeholders who need to be convinced, not just informed.

This is not a support function. You'll be shaping how prospects understand and experience the product, building the frameworks that turn ambiguous challenges into clear, compelling solutions and ultimately driving revenue.

What you'll be doing

• Owning technical strategy end-to-end across complex enterprise deals
  
  
• Leading technical discovery to surface use cases, data realities, and executive success criteria
  
  
• Designing and delivering live demos and proof-of-concept engagements
  
  
• Translating customer problems into structured solution frameworks
  
  
• Partnering with Sales to improve POC win rates, deal velocity, and executive confidence
  
  
• Contributing reusable assets and discovery insights that sharpen team-wide effectiveness
  
  
• Providing structured product feedback that informs roadmap decisions

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role - Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Consulting, or Implementation
  
  
• Deep hands-on experience with AI systems, data platforms, LLM-based workflows, or quantitative/qualitative research platforms
  
  
• Demonstrable executive presence - comfortable presenting to and earning trust from C-suite stakeholders
  
  
• Strong at structuring ambiguous problems into clear, defensible solutions
  
  
• University Degree - ideally in a technical or quantitative discipline
  
  
• Startup experience, ideally in a high-growth environment
  
  
• Background selling into or working with Consumer Insights, CMO office, Digital Transformation, or Strategy functions is a strong plus
  
  
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York City - this role is fully onsite, 5 days a week
