Help Desk Specialist

Salary: $45,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer an associate degree.
• We require 2 years of IT help desk experience.
• We require you to be based in Dallas, TX 75231 and able to commute to our office.
• We prefer a willingness to travel up to 25%.
• You should be able to handle cabling tasks and move computer equipment that may be heavy.

• We diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• We guide users through solutions by phone, email, chat, or in person.
• We log, track, prioritize, and escalate support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• We help end users use software, applications, and hardware effectively.
• We carry out routine updates, backups, and patching to keep systems running smoothly.
• We set up, configure, and maintain workstations, software, and network settings.
• We install new hardware and software when needed.
• We document recurring issues and solutions, and we update knowledge base resources.
• We support password resets, account setup, and security procedures.
• We monitor for security issues and respond appropriately.
• We work with other IT team members to resolve complex problems.
• We keep users informed about request status and ongoing incidents.
• We provide remote support using remote access tools.
• We deliver training and guidance to improve users technology skills.
