The Role We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Account Executive with a start-up mindset and a SaaS background to drive new business growth across Modo Energy's target markets. This is a true hunter role with real scope - you'll be one of the early commercial voices in the US market as we scale. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging and winning new customers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close. What You'll Be Doing Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demo, negotiation, and close Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise accounts across the Americas Negotiate and close deals valued between $40,000 and $200,000 Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within your book of business Forecast accurately in HubSpot and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene Feed customer insight back into product and go-to-market strategy Represent Modo Energy at industry events, conferences, and client meetings About You We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with excellent business development and relationship-building skills. You’ll likely come from a SaaS, software, data, research or subscription-based environment where you’ve been responsible for generating new business, managing complex sales cycles and consistently achieving revenue targets. You’ll be comfortable opening conversations with senior stakeholders, navigating multiple decision-makers and driving opportunities through to completion. What We’re Looking For 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, selling research, data, or analytics products to mid-market or enterprise customers Proven quota attainment in a startup or scale-up environment Experience managing complex deal cycles at deal values consistent with this role Comfortable working autonomously and building pipeline without heavy SDR support The Type of Person Who Thrives Here You’ll be someone who: Thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced sales environment. Salary & Commission For New York Applicants, the salary range for this position is $110k - $190k (double OTE) per year. The salary range listed reflects industry benchmarks for this role.
