Role Overview
Join a pioneering generative-music AI lab as a Language Music Expert, where you will leverage your musical expertise across various languages. This role is essential for transcribing melodies and handling sung lyrics, ensuring accuracy in pitch, rhythm, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe melodies by ear with a focus on accurate pitch and rhythm.
- Recognize musical elements such as key, tempo, and time signature.
- Handle sung lyrics with precision, including accents and less-clear delivery.
- Formal musical training or professional experience, such as a degree in music or several years as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher.
- Strong fluency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Romanian, Swedish, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Telugu, Croatian, Finnish, Haitian Creole, Slovak, Gujarati, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Manipuri/Meitei, Oromo, Pashto, Shona.
- Excellent auditory skills, particularly in transcribing music.
This is a remote, hourly position requiring 2, 5 hours of work per week, with potential for expansion based on performance.
CompensationThe hourly rate ranges from $50 to $70, commensurate with experience.
