About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to provide dynamic leadership in all HR operations, with a focus on talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and learning. The CHRO will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to recruit, develop, and retain a high-quality, effective workforce. This role involves acting as the principal advisor to the executive team on HR matters, advancing the company's mission through the development of recruitment and retention frameworks, and ensuring HR compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building proactive talent pipelines, coordinating labor relations, and overseeing the implementation of collective bargaining agreements. Applicants for the CHRO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in HR administration or a related discipline, with at least 10 years' of executive experience in HR, preferably in a unionized environment. The role requires outstanding human relations and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. The CHRO will be expected to have a strong background in HR best practices, including performance management, employee recognition, and corrective actions. A key aspect of the role is to cultivate strong partnerships between the HR department, peer departments, and company leaders to advance the organization's strategic objectives.
