Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delmont Behavioral Health Center, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough initial interviews through telehealth consultations to document client histories and needs.

• Assessing clients' mental and emotional well-being and diagnosing potential mental health disorders.
\n
• Developing and executing individual treatment plans that cater to diverse needs of clients, whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.
\n
• Facilitating engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth.
\n
• Continuously monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and doctors, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintaining meticulous records in electronic health record systems, guaranteeing compliance with privacy standards.
\n
• Providing support and guidance to clients' family members and caregivers to help manage related challenges.
\n
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care to incorporate best practices into treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. The clients served by Delmont Behavioral Health Center come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will require cultural competence to provide empathetic and effective care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling services in a clinical or community setting.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications listed above, candidates who possess the following additional skills and experiences will be at a distinct advantage:

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.

• Experience managing mental health conditions alongside physical health issues and substance use disorders.

• A solid understanding of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
