The position requires a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt to client needs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual, taking into account their cultural, social, and personal backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address various mental health challenges and enhance personal resilience.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care effectively.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies with a focus on de-escalation and safety.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will have the privilege of working with a wide range of clients from various backgrounds, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families coping with the complexities of immigration. This role is critical in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys by offering support that is reflective of their cultural and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT issued by the state of Arizona.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment modalities in clinical practice.

• Proven experience in delivering culturally responsive and inclusive therapy in individual and group settings.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, demonstrating calmness and professional composure in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications for documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling setting is required. Previous telehealth experience is a plus, as well as involvement with culturally diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
