Water Damage Restoration Technician

RestoreCore is hiring an experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician to provide water damage mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role includes emergency response, water extraction, structural drying, demolition, moisture monitoring, equipment setup, and customer communication.
What You'll Do- Respond to water damage and emergency restoration projects
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and cleanup
- Set up, monitor, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment
- Take moisture readings and document drying progress
- Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, and other materials
- Apply antimicrobial treatments when needed
- Document work with photos, notes, moisture logs, and equipment records
- Communicate professionally with customers and project managers
- Clean and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
- Follow company, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- One or more years of water mitigation, restoration, construction, or related hands-on experience preferred
- Knowledge of water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and moisture detection
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Availability for on-call, evening, weekend, and emergency response work

This position involves indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions. Exposure to water, dust, odors, noise, and damaged building materials is common.
