About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Oncology Sales to lead the design, build, and execution of a national oncology sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and scaling a high-performing sales team, ensuring successful product launches, and driving sustained revenue growth. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in building and scaling sales organizations, particularly in the oncology sector, and a deep understanding of oncology market dynamics. The VP will be tasked with fostering a high-performance culture, developing leadership talent, and ensuring the sales strategy is aligned with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include organizational build and leadership, strategic and commercial leadership, sales operations and execution excellence, key account and market engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Candidates for the Vice President, Oncology Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology. The role demands a leader with strong strategic, analytical, and operational capabilities, and a proven ability to influence at executive levels. Experience in NSCLC and/or GI oncology markets is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in leading oncology product launches, including oral oncolytics, and a history of successful leadership in high-growth, change-driven environments. The VP will be expected to travel and must be adept at building and leading teams through change, with a strong emphasis on ethical leadership and decision-making.
