Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients based on referrals from physicians to determine individual treatment plans.
• Design and implement personalized treatment programs that address orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective therapies that aim to restore function and improve quality of life for patients.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care, both within the clinic setting and potentially in home health environments, ensuring alignment with each patient's physician-approved plan of care.
• Access and utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and methodologies to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families through education and support, guiding them through their recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards of customer service and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation, scheduling, and communication.
• A proven ability to build rapport with patients and their families to encourage adherence to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting with hands-on patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
