Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a travel assignment with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be required to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, specifically on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to universal precautions standards.
• Comply with established policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate dependability and responsibility with regard to attendance and punctuality, while following instructions correctly.
• Perform venipuncture with skill and accuracy.
• Conduct daily quality control and maintenance as per guidelines.
• Complete testing in a timely and concise manner.
• Operate and troubleshoot chemistry analyzers.
• Operate and troubleshoot urinalysis analyzers.
• Operate and troubleshoot hematology analyzers.
• Operate and troubleshoot coagulation analyzers.
• Conduct blood bank testing, including typing, RH, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and quality control.
• Perform miscellaneous testing such as serological, microbiological, and microscopic analyses.
• Maintain courtesy and professional conduct with patients, laboratory staff, physicians, and other colleagues.
• Communicate effectively by sharing important information with co-workers and supervisors.
• Maintain overall quality of performance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Current ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• AHA BLS certification must be obtained at the time of submission.
• Previous blood bank experience is a plus.
