Job Summary (Bookkeeper Orchard Park, NY)

- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable including vendor invoices, bill approvals, payment runs, customer invoicing, and collections monitoring.
- Maintain General Ledger by posting daily transactions, recording journal entries, and categorizing income and expenses.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant clearing accounts.
- Support month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Coordinate payroll data entries and review employee expense reports for compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain organized digital financial records and assist with audit preparations.
- Minimum 5 years' progressive bookkeeping or full-charge accounting experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online; NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, GAAP, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, formulas, lookup functions).
- Must work fully on-site, 5 days per week.
