This full-time, contract position runs from August 11th to approximately November 20th, ideal for those eager to make a direct impact while enjoying the vibrant El Segundo area. With an 8am–4pm schedule and a manageable 7.5-hour workday, you’ll focus on providing targeted push-in support to students with mild to moderate needs—no SEIS documentation, assessment responsibilities, or IEP meetings.

What we’re seeking:

• Hold an active California mild/moderate Special Education credential (required).
• Passion for inclusive education and experience with Resource Specialist Program (RSP) models.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with general education teachers and staff.
• Ability to efficiently track and document provided services using internal systems.
• Adaptable, organized, and proactive in meeting each student’s unique needs.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver push-in support to students in classroom settings—no pull-out services.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to reinforce instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Monitor, track, and record student progress on an internal service log.
• Communicate regularly with team members to ensure seamless support delivery.
• Engage students compassionately, fostering confidence and academic growth.
